On October 6th, the large-scale interview of "Xinjiang Tour · Aid to Xinjiang" has entered its sixth day. During this period, the interview team traveled 2000 kilometers and conducted interviews in the areas and towns where Hunan, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Fujian and other provinces provided assistance for construction. Since the aid construction, changes in various regions have not only been reflected in the naming of aid projects, but also in the changes made to the lives of local residents.
The aid to Xinjiang construction is gradually changing Xinjiang
The Wulungu River Bridge, built with assistance from Heilongjiang, spans from north to south, saving local residents more than three hours of detour time. The library and kindergarten built with Hunan's assistance provide local children with the opportunity to receive formal bilingual education in both Chinese and Uyghur from an early age. The construction of Qitai County in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, aided by Fujian, has given a large county with an oasis civilization a modern commercial layout similar to that of a southern metropolis. The aid to Xinjiang in recent years has gradually changed the desolate feeling of the "vast desert with smoke and smoke" in Xinjiang.
Shaanxi's aid to Xinjiang does not have corresponding areas like other provinces. In the aid materials for Xinjiang, it is more described that six highways were previously built for Xinjiang. The road has been repaired and the task is completed. Nowadays, on desert roads or highways in Xinjiang, it is common to see Shaanxi Automobile Heavy Truck trucks speeding, and sometimes in some oasis cities, BYD taxis and private cars can also be seen. In Hami, there is even a Shaanbei style street. But none of these are as attractive as the ceramic tiles in the key cultural relics unit of the Prince's Mansion.

The restoration tiles of Hami Wangfu are all from Xi'an
In this large royal tomb complex where the 9th generation Hami Hui king was buried, there is a huge arch worship building. After thousands of years, many ceramic tiles on the exterior of this exquisite and ethnic rich building have been eroded and peeled off by wind.
Gu Li, the guide in the Prince's Mansion, said that the ceramic tile patterns on the exterior walls of the arch worship look a bit new and were specially customized in Xi'an during the restoration of the Prince's Mansion in 1990. Why customize in Xi'an? "Gu Li's answer was:" It is said that at that time, in order to find ceramic tiles with special patterns and exquisite colors, the cultural protection units in Hami went to many places across the country, but the firing process and soil characteristics were too different from old tiles. Finally, they found a company in Xi'an that could fire ceramic tiles with this special pattern and texture. "After learning about this anecdote, reporters from various places in the interview group also joked," The projects aided by the ancient capital Xi'an are indeed 'high-end'
Nowadays, thousands of tiles from Xi'an are attached to this magnificent building, allowing it to be fully displayed to the world, silently telling the glorious past in the long river of history.
The settled herdsmen live a comfortable and stable life
The more places you visit in northern Xinjiang, the more you will discover how important animal husbandry is to the nomadic people here. At this time, northern Xinjiang has entered winter. Half a month ago, herdsmen had already moved their cattle and sheep from summer pastures to winter pastures. However, there are also some settled herdsmen who have driven their cattle and sheep back to their settled villages and raised them in captivity to spend a comfortable and peaceful winter.
Gulijami, a 56 year old Kazakh herder, lives in Longyuan Community, Qiganjidi Township, Fuhai County, Altay Prefecture. This is a herder settlement community built with assistance from Heilongjiang Province. In January 2011, Guligami and her family moved into an 80 square meter two bedroom apartment here. In the past few days, her home has already started heating up, and wearing a thin sweater inside is enough. Despite the small size of the house, the yard outside the door is as big as three tennis courts. Guligami planted some tomatoes and vegetables in the yard, and her son is building two new houses in the spare space. In their livestock pens, they have raised over 100 sheep and 15 cows this winter.
In a week, her youngest daughter will be getting married, and the house has been tidied up. A brand new carpet is laid on the kang, and the dowry is also neatly arranged. After settling down, as long as the grass is well stocked, she and the cows and sheep no longer need to move to the winter pasture to drink in the cold. Guligami is very satisfied with her current life. The policy of settling down and promoting grazing not only allows the pasture to rest, but also enables nomadic tribes to live a stable life in winter.
