Sichuan: 10 high-speed projects will be completed and opened to traffic in 2015

Recently, Sichuan Provincial Department of transportation held a provincial transportation work conference. The reporter learned from the meeting that in 2015, Sichuan Province will speed up the construction of 19 expressway projects under construction, such as Yakang, Wenma and so on, and ensure that 10 projects such as cheng'an-chongqing and the east section of Chengdu errao will be completed and opened to traffic.

The province's high-speed traffic mileage reached 5510 kilometers

In 2014, the construction of expressways in Sichuan province continued to advance. Six new projects were completed, including the opening of Lipan Panzhihua, Bazhong Nanjiang section, Chengdu zichi Luzhou section, Suizi Meishan section, Mianyang Ring Road and Chengdu errao west section. At present, the opening mileage of expressways in Sichuan Province has reached 5510 km. 644km of 6 new projects including Yakang and Wenma have been started. A total of 584km of 7 projects including Mianyang Xichong, Bazhong Wanyuan, Neijiang Ring Road and Panzhihua Dali have been completed. The total mileage of expressways built and under construction in the province exceeds 7200 kilometers, and expressways are built or under construction in 21 cities and prefectures in the province.

In terms of the operation of Expressway electronic non-stop toll collection system (etc), at present, the number of etc dedicated lanes has reached 504, covering 60% of the toll stations in the province. There are 393 customer service outlets, covering all connected expressways and cities above the county level, with nearly 200000 users.

10 high-speed projects completed and opened to traffic in the province

In 2015, Sichuan Province will accelerate the construction of three-dimensional comprehensive transportation corridor in the Yangtze River economic belt and promote the early commencement of the "three to two" project in the Sichuan section of the Yangtze River. At the same time, ensure that 500 km of traffic, 300 km of construction and 500 km of reserves will be opened in 2015.

In 2015, Sichuan will ensure the completion and opening of 10 projects such as Cheng'an Chongqing and the east section of Chengdu Second Ring Road. By the end of the year, it is expected that the opening mileage of expressways in the province will exceed 6000 km, and the total mileage completed and under construction will exceed 8000 km.

While the mileage of high-speed traffic is rising, the construction of intelligent transportation will keep up. In 2015, Sichuan Province will complete the construction of etc Lane (phase III) of expressway, achieve the provincial coverage of electronic non-stop toll collection system, realize the national networking on schedule, and build 7 projects such as the national unified Expressway special communication network system and the provincial road passenger transport online ticketing system within the year.
