Hunan Province starts construction of 3 railways and 4 expressways

The projects launched today include three railways: the Guizhou Zhangjiakou Changzhou Railway, the Hunan section of the Mengxi central China coal transportation channel (Menghua railway), and the Chang Zhu Tan intercity railway extension line, with a total mileage of 573 kilometers and a total investment of 56.1 billion yuan; Yima (Yiyang to Majitang), Nanyi (Nanxian to Yiyang), Wujing (Wugang to Jingzhou), Lianzhu (lianhuachong to Zhuzhou) and other four expressways, with a total construction mileage of 279 km and a total investment of 22.6 billion yuan. Seven railways and expressways are vertically and horizontally distributed in 9 cities and prefectures of our province, including many old revolutionary base areas and ethnic minority gathering areas.

Du Jiahao pointed out that the key to steady growth lies in steady investment, the key to steady investment lies in steady projects, and the key to steady projects lies in steady infrastructure construction.
