On October 13, the Party group of the Ministry of transport of the Communist Party of China held a meeting to convey and study the spirit of the Central Ethnic Work Conference and the sixth national national national unity and progress commendation conference of the State Council and the spirit of the summary conference of the party's mass line educational practice activities. The meeting stressed that efforts should be made to do a good job in six aspects.

First, strengthen the construction of transportation infrastructure in ethnic minority areas. Further improve the planning and layout of transportation infrastructure network in ethnic minority areas. While strengthening the construction of national expressway network, railway network and comprehensive hub, continue to promote the construction of national and provincial trunk lines, strengthen the construction of county and township highway network, and encourage places with conditions to strengthen the construction of water transportation infrastructure. According to one belt, one road, we should speed up the construction of transportation interconnection in minority areas.

Second, we will fight a tough battle for poverty alleviation through transportation. We will further implement the outline of the poverty alleviation plan for traffic construction in concentrated and contiguous poverty-stricken areas (2011-2020) and the construction plan for "changing cable to bridge" (2013-2015), increase policy preference and support, and accelerate the transformation of ordinary national and provincial roads and important county and township roads, the construction of important navigation channels and rural passenger transport stations, and the shuttle bus in established villages in concentrated and contiguous poverty-stricken areas.

Third, promote the equalization of basic public services in transportation in ethnic minority areas. In accordance with the requirements of the central government to basically realize the equalization of basic public services in ethnic minority areas by 2020, support the development of rural passenger transport and urban public transport in ethnic minority areas, promote the integration of urban and rural transportation, improve measures to facilitate and benefit the people, promote the development of modern logistics, accelerate the improvement of rural logistics service system at County, township and village levels, improve organizational efficiency and reduce circulation costs.

Fourth, improve the maintenance level and safety management level of transportation infrastructure. Deepen the reform of transportation infrastructure maintenance management system and mechanism, strengthen capital guarantee and scientific and technological innovation, promote the standardized construction of maintenance Road classes, strengthen safety supervision, improve safety guarantee, and effectively enhance the durability and safety of infrastructure.

Fifth, strengthen the training of transportation professionals in ethnic minority areas.
